An older woman is taken in the night  against her will into a shabby apartment. She identifies herself as Pauline Weiss, and demands her "captors" to return her back home, to her loving rich and powerful husband. They tell her that she is in fact their mother, Jacqueline Amar, a poor Moroccan widow who worked as a cleaning women most of her life. A battle takes place on the true identity of this mysterious woman.
She will not disavow her status, fantastical though it may be, and they will not let her forget or renounce her true identity.

"An impressive performance, play, directing, design and acting from the finest Fringe theater...The play offers a fascinating solution to a mystery which gradually unfolds here… written in an excellent expertise of a great drama and a great dialogue, like a detective riddle."

Zvi Goren, Habama (Stage) Website

"A fascinating play about a Moroccan family that deals with what seems as the mother's schizophrenia… the dialogues between the mother and her children are funny and liberating, uncovering precisely the stereotypes not only of the 'Orientals,' but the fantastic stereotype of this same 'Oriental' figure on the seemingly liberal 'Europeans.' It is a ground-breaking play that requires a virtuoso actress." Eitan Bloom, Haaretz.

"Orly Tobaly as Jackie / Paoline portrays a great character ... Her text work is wonderful and accurate "

Nano Shabtay / Haaretz

"Sachs and Gil, who had fertile collaborations in the past, created this time a complex, charged and bleeding issue that seeks to outline the sectarian segmentation map in Israel"

Yuki Lavi / Cafe de Marker

"I was excited ... a great joy for real theater enthusiasts who are more interested in human destinies than spectacular effects."

George Militniano / Leviathan
